P1S

Bambu Lab P1S 2023

The P1S is a closed-frame CoreXY printer with an active carbon filter and native AMS support: features that require solid familiarity with FDM printing, engineering filaments, and multi-material workflows. It targets experienced makers, rapid-prototyping professionals, and small print farms rather than first-time 3D printing users.

Software

The P1S is managed through Bambu Studio, Bambu Lab's proprietary slicer available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, or via OrcaSlicer, the widely adopted open-source fork that provides finer parameter control. The Bambu Handy mobile app enables remote monitoring and print launching. The printer supports local LAN connections without a mandatory cloud account, though some advanced features — such as remote timelapses and OTA firmware updates — require a Bambu account.

Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
