A2L

Bambu Lab A2L 2026

The A2L targets experienced hobbyists and small print farms that need a build volume well above the consumer average without the complexity of industrial machines. Its PMSM closed-loop servo extruder and adaptive vibration compensation system reward users who are comfortable tuning print parameters. The open-frame design limits the material range to PLA, PETG, and similar non-engineering filaments.

Software

The A2L is compatible with Bambu Studio, Bambu Lab's proprietary slicer for Windows and macOS, which provides native access to all machine features including AMS multi-color management. Third-party slicers that export standard G-code — such as PrusaSlicer and OrcaSlicer — are supported, though some advanced features may not be available outside Bambu Studio. Connectivity is via Wi-Fi; basic printing functions do not require a cloud account.

Reviews from those who use this machine every day will be available in the next version of the platform.
