What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit a site. They serve to make the site work, to remember your choices and in some cases to measure audience or show ads. Italian and European law distinguishes between:
- Technical cookies (always on): they make the site work. They don't require your consent.
- Analytics cookies (optional): they help understand how users use the site in aggregate form. They require consent when they belong to third parties.
- Advertising cookies (optional): they serve to show ads. They always require your consent.
Our choice at this stage
MakerSpecs currently uses only technical cookies and no third-party cookies. To measure audience we use Plausible Analytics, a tool that runs on our server and sets no cookies and collects no personal data. We have no advertising.
When in the future we introduce ads or more advanced analytics, we'll show a banner asking for your consent before activating any non-essential cookie, and we'll update this page with the full list.

How to change your choices
In questa fase non c'è nulla da gestire: non usiamo cookie non essenziali. Quando introdurremo cookie opzionali, ti mostreremo un banner e troverai un link "Preferenze cookie" in fondo a ogni pagina. Puoi comunque gestire e cancellare i cookie tecnici direttamente dal tuo browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge); nota che bloccando tutti i cookie potresti non riuscire a usare alcune funzioni (es. l'area autori).
