Textile & sewing — illustrazione di categoria

Textile and sewing processes embrace the complex transformation cycle that converts yarns and fabrics into finished garments, upholstery or technical textiles. Starting from the very structure of the material, knitting uses advanced industrial machines to interlace series of continuous yarns, creating flexible, breathable and highly conformable fabrics. Once the fabric is obtained, structural assembly is entrusted to lockstitch sewing machines, which firmly join the edges of cloth through precise and resistant stitching. To ensure the longevity of the garment and an impeccable finish of the inner edges, the intervention of the overlock machine (or serger) is indispensable: this specialized system trims the excess fabric and simultaneously wraps its margin with a dense interlacing of threads, preventing any fraying and ensuring elastic seams ideal for sportswear and knitwear. Finally, for the customization and embellishment of the product, multi-head computerized embroidery machines come into play: guided by dedicated software, these machines reproduce logos, complex patterns and three-dimensional decorations by applying hundreds of stitches per minute with extreme accuracy. As a whole, these technologies represent the perfect synthesis of the ancient art of tailoring and modern industrial automation.
